The Mission Home

We are currently renting and housing as many people as possible at our mission home. Our future goal is to secure our own land where we can build permanent housing, and a medical center, a school, and hire our own teachers so our sponsored children can attend school on our own campus grounds.

A more immediate need is to raise funds for a van. At present, the team has to hire drivers for every event, and for all local needs such as shopping, visiting the schools, hospital visits, and transport to the villages. To have a van would be an incredibly helpful aid in the day to day needs.

Today, approximately 30 people, including refugees and young mothers with children, live at the mission home full time. Around 50 others come on a daily basis, with even more attending during school breaks and holidays. Each day includes shared devotion time, nutritious meals, and ongoing care and support.

Donations help provide for the mission home’s daily needs, including rent, food, basic supplies, staff support for leadership and instructors, school tuition and entry fees, and village outreach supplies and travel. As more children continue to arrive, we are always seeking additional sponsors.

This mission home location currently cannot sustain many more people long term. We remain deeply grateful for this place in this season, as it allows us to continue serving those in need while working toward a permanent future.
