Through education, discipleship, and vocational training, families are empowered to rebuild their lives and move forward with hope.
In Uganda’s capital city, Kampala, Anchor Love Mission provides a safe home for women and children seeking refuge from trauma, abuse, or abandonment.
Each day, they receive nourishment, medical care, and the stability of a secure place to rest and rebuild.
UNDERSTANDING THE NEED
Uganda is incredibly beautiful, yet many families face deep economic hardship. Many children lack consistent access to education, and poverty can limit opportunities for long term stability. These realities can create cycles that are difficult to break without steady support.
Uganda also welcomes families fleeing violence and persecution from neighboring countries such as Sudan and the Democratic Republic of Congo. Many arrive seeking safety, stability, and hope for a better future.
At Anchor Love Mission, our goal is to walk alongside women, children, and families in need by providing support, community, and opportunity. Through compassion, practical care, and faith driven service, we strive to bring hope, dignity, and restoration to every life we encounter.
Our Programs
Child Sponsorship Program
Our organization provides education and support to children whose parents or guardians are unable to afford school fees, made possible through the generousity of our donors and partners.
Sewing and Tailoring Program
Our organization offers free daily sewing and tailoring training for women in the community to help reduce unemployment and promote self sufficiency. Our priority is given to single mothers, equipping them with practical skills to support themselves and their families.
Community Development Programs
As a nonprofit organization, we respond to the needs in the communities we serve. The organization has built a clean water well that now provides a safe drinking source for hundreds of people. We also distribute food packages to families in need, including during festive seasons and in times of hardship to support those facing hunger.
Evangelism
We are a faith based organization commited to sharing the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. Our ministry includes open air preaching, door to door evangelism, and outreach ministry throughout rural Uganda to fulfill the Great Commission.

A Story of Restoration
A few years ago, these siblings arrived at Anchor Love Mission Home with their mother after leaving a violent situation at home. They came with very little and faced an uncertain future. Here, they found safety, stability, and a community committed to walking with them toward healing and hope.
Over the years, their lives have been transformed. With consistent care, access to education, and the faithful support of sponsors, their health strengthened and their smiles returned.
Alvin has grown into a confident young man who is excelling academically. Bonita, once timid and unsure, now radiates joy and confidence.
