About the Speaker:

Peter Gordon is a Payments executive and visionary who navigates the changing Payments and Banking landscape for companies. He is currently Founder & Managing Partner of Atlantic Fintech Advisors and consults with payment players of all types. 

Peter unique global payment experience in both card and banking rails positions him as a leader in the industry, striving to make money movement faster, cheaper, safer, and more transparent for all.

With 35 years of experience, the last 20 years in executive roles in banking, payments, and technology, Peter has become a globally recognized payments expert and innovator. As an example, Peter served as one of the Steering Committee members on the 2015 Federal Reserve’s Faster Payments Task Force, creating the criteria for ubiquitous, safe, and faster electronic solutions in the U.S. for Real-time Payments (RTP) and FedNow. The co-chairs were, Kansas City Federal Reserve Bank President Esther George and then Federal Reserve Board Governor, Jerome H. Powell.

Peter is also an active volunteer at Babson College where he received his MBA. Peter is a frequent Babson speaker, mentor, and advisor, receiving the Distinguished Service to the College Award for his contributions. He continued Executive Education at MIT Sloan in Developing Successful Technology Products. His undergraduate degree is from Syracuse in Management Information Systems and Finance.
