Luke was born and raised in a ranching family that goes back nearly a century on California’s Central Coast. In 2000, he won both the Steer Wrestling Rookie of the Year and the overall PRCA Rookie of the year award. Since then, Luke has 14 qualifications to compete at the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo, winning 5 Steer Wrestling World Championships and taking home 3 NFR Average titles. Today, Luke is a frequent contributor to rodeo broadcasts, providing color commentary at a number of events.
